Our Motto “Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.”- Theodore Roosevelt

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Garrett Coleman, I have been an employee, independent contractor, and most recently an entrepreneur. I started this website to share with you my failures. Yes, that is right my failures. Why, you ask? Well I have lost a lot of money doing stupid things and if no one learns from it, it is just wasted. So whether you you are a starting a business, a seasoned entrepreneur, or just searching for a new home based business idea I am sure you will find some valuable information.
To make a long story short I have always wanted to have my own business, until winter of 2005 when I made the jump. I had read all the books, was motivated, confident, and ready to take on the world, or so I thought. Once I ventured into starting a business I quickly realized I was not prepared. So I turned to those wonderful business books for some business help and realized there were not any answers or specifics. Then I did research on some of the authors and found out why. Most became successful selling books, not starting businesses. Now don’t get me wrong, there is some great information in many of them, but a lot are just good stories. What makes this small business website different from other business resources, is I am not going to tell you a story or even what to do. I am going to tell you what I and other entrepreneurs did and how it worked or did not. Then you can make informed decisions as you start your small business, and build on that new business idea.
